Among the places that remain open all year round (or almost), Hostal La Torre continues to be one of our favorites. Partly for the privileged location, partly for the atmosphere but above all for the music. The Hostal is a special place that can only leave very good memories in the hearts and eyes of those who have visited it. Perched on a cliff not far from San Antonio Bay, Cap Negret, La Torre is the boho version of an old Spanish hostel (the first time I visited this place it still had the metal tables and plastic chairs from an 80s bar, but the magic that surrounded him was always the same) with restaurant and bar with an amazing view.
The terrace restaurant at La Torre Ibiza is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but it truly shines at sunset. With a Balearic soundtrack from the island’s best resident DJs, great food, and uninterrupted views over the Mediterranean Sea, it’s the perfect place to avoid the sunset crowds (in summer gets full easily, but now it’s the perfect moment to enjoy)! The intense, fiery skies and the clarity of the sunset at this location are truly breathtaking; one of a kind and unforgettable, making it one of the most popular hotels on the sunset strip of Ibiza.
You can decide to enjoy the Hostal La Torre to drink something or choose to join also the restaurant. Its menu offers a selection of tapas to share and, at night, more elaborate dishes, which complement the incredible view that can be enjoyed at any time of the day. There is also a breakfast menu and many people go to have cocktails or enjoy their wine and sparkling wine list. The Hostel still have some rooms to rent: the rooms with a sea view offer an iconic sunset experience and the hotel’s rooftop is a great spot to enjoy the sunset. The hostel offers exclusive experiences, including a kids club, wellness facilities, and spa services.
Several DJ sets take place at Hostal La Torre in Ibiza during the whole year, offering a unique musical experience against the backdrop of the sunset. These events feature a variety of sounds, including ambient, balearic, and cinematic music. The venue hosts both famous island DJs during the summer and resident DJs during the off-peak season. The sunset sessions are known for their magical atmosphere, making them a popular choice for visitors looking to enjoy music and the stunning sunset views. The schedule for these events can vary, so it’s recommended to check the specific dates and DJs in advance. This is this week’s appointments…
In short, if this place is perfect even in the height of summer, it is even more so in these winter months, in which it becomes a meeting place for those who live on the island 365 days a year and never stop loving sunsets, good music and the view of the boundless blue expanse called the sea.
