Ibiza is not just beach and parties. For the second time the Contemporary Art Now (CAN) Fair is back on the island to bring avanguard artworks fro all over the world. From the 12th to the 16th of July, at the Recinto Ferial, Ibiza’s exhibition hall, you can have an immersive experience into contemporary art.

This edition of CAN Ibiza features cutting-edge artwork from established and emerging artists, with colorful and pop-style paintings and sculptures inspired by comics, video games and Instagram. London, New York, Hong Kong, Mexico City, Sydney and Madrid, among other cities, will be represented by different exhibitors that will show us the works of over 140 artists from more than 30 international galleries on five continents.

The event is also complemented by various activities for collectors, such as private visits to private collections, artists’ studios, museums and institutions, among others, and there will also be three exhibitions dedicated to Balearic art which can be visited throughout the month of July at the Faro de ses Coves Blanques and the Sa Punta des Molí Cultural Space (both in San Antonio), and at the Blanco Hotel Formentera, on the sister island of Ibiza. Each exhibit at CAN Ibiza is carefully curated to ignite your imagination and challenge your perceptions. For sure a different kind of happening that show another interesting side of the island: lots of artists, from musician to sculptors to painters, select this place as a space to create and give birth to their artwork. Finding inspiration here is quiet easy: from humans to nature to style…and, as Paul Smith used to say: “You can find inspiration in everything“!
